I am often asked whether it is necessary to stop drinking in order to take control of someone’s weight – especially if the person is trying to lose weight or has been struggling to maintain their ideal weight. And a surprising number of the people I speak to are consuming a glass or two (or more) of wine most evenings.

Whilst I am a firm believer in the “little bit of what you fancy does you good” mentality, it is important to think about the implications of this level of alcohol intake – here are a few points that you may not have considered. (more…)

Final weighing and measuring before the Robinsons go away:

  • Emma’s total weight lost is 7.5 kg / 16.5 lbs so far
  • Stuart’s total weight lost is 13 kg / 28.6 lbs so far

These photos are great! Emma – your face looks tiny, I’ve known you for some time and never seen you like that – you look totally different! Stuart – where has your bottom gone??? And your back even looks thinner!

The pictures on the left are from Day 1 (end of November), and those on the right are from today (or is it tomorrow as they are in Brisbane??). They took a few weeks off for Christmas and New Year but otherwise have been on the products for a few months now.

The week 9 results from our bride-and-groom-to-be are in.

Paul and Emma continue to exercise, eat healthily (mostly) and follow their Herbalife nutrition programmes. Like everyone, they’ve had good days and bad, and do find it more of a challenge when they are eating out a lot or tempted by hot cross buns and birthday cake (!) but it really is worth while.
